The Prostate Cancer Awareness Day was successfully celebrated on Sunday 15th September 2013, with an event organized by the Urological Association of Northern Greece and the Institute for the Study of Urological Diseases.

The Sexual and Reproductive Health Center (SRHC/ ΚΕ.Σ.Α.Υ) took part in the event “Thestival your Voice” by organizing a great many public awareness-raising events at its pavilion at the Aristotelous Square in Thessaloniki. Within this context, the public had the opportunity to get informed about various issues related to sexual health and also participate in the “pick-i-up” game that was set up with the assistance of Expert Sexologists. 

On December 1^st, 2007, on the occasion of the World AIDS Awareness Day, the Sexual and Reproductive Health Center (SRHC/ ΚΕ.Σ.Α.Υ). organized a one-day event at the Aristotelous Square in the center of the city of Thessaloniki. There were many guests from the political sector, artists, actors, actresses, singers, scientists and volunteers informing the public about ‘safe sex’, while distributing informative printed material.

Posters have been occasionally used as a means for raising the public awareness upon issues of sexual health. These were either published in newspapers and magazines or distributed as brochures. More specifically, the poster with the picture of the telephone receiver distinguished in particular and was honored with the Silver Hermes Award in the special contest category “Social Messages” for the year 2003.
