PSA is one of the most common tests the Urologist asks for. However, the issue of routine PSA screening still remains ambiguous and is an object of onflict. In fact, Scientific Societies have been recently debating about whether it should be included as a routine check-up test or not. And, after all, what should the Urologist tell the patient?

A classical visit of a prostate cancer patient includes PSA investigation and digital examination. In case PSA is high, then we start a struggle to reduce it. However, is this sufficient for our patient or do we actually make him give up living and simply wait for the end?
