Short CV: 

He graduated from the Military Medical School of Thessaloniki in 1971. After completing his specialization, he started his Doctorate thesis at the Radiology Dpt of AUTh and completed it in 1984. In 1985 and 1986 he received further training at the Head and Neck Department of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. In 1990 he was appointed as a Lecturer at AUTh and was placed in charge of the of the CET scanner at AHEPA Hospital in Thessaloniki. He has been the Director of the Radiology Lab of ‘Papageorgiou’ Hospital since 1999. During this period he has attended and actively participated in 315 conferences, symposia and seminars. His scientific work includes a plethora of announcements (approximately 2000) at Greek and International conferences, 300 publications in Greek and international journals; he has also authored 10 Radiology textbooks. He served as the Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Regional Health Council (PESY), as the Chairman of the Scientific Board of ‘Papageorgiou’ Hospital for the last ten years and to this day, and as the Chairman of the Radiology Association of Northern Greece for 10 years.
