Short CV: 

I was born in Athens, on September 18th, 1973. I graduated from the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens, Faculty of Medicine (1992 – 1998) and afterwards I attended the mandatory rural medical practice at the “General Hospital - Health Center of Siteia”. After completing my military service, I started my residency in general surgery at “Asklipieio Voulas – General Hospital” and then in urology at “Evaggelismos General Hospital” (Oct 04 – Dec 08). In January 2009 I obtained the medical licence to practise the specialty of urology.
Since March 2010, I have been running my private practice in urology in Athens, at 74 Sepolion str., under the National Organisation for Health-care Provision agreement (EOPYY). I have been a Specialist Consultant in the Department of Reconstructive Urology and Surgical Andrology, initially of “Mitera” Hospital (May 2011 – Sep 2014) and afterwards of “Iaso General”, a position I maintain until today.
I hold a licence for performing urologic ultrasonography examination, after having successfully passed the relevant examinations of the Ministry of Health, and I also hold the FEBU certification since 2008. I have received a scholarship from the department of Urodynamic, Neurourology & Female Urology (UNUFU) of the Hellenic Urological Association, for one-month training at the Urological Department of “G. Hatzikosta – General Hospital of Ioannina”.
To date, I have participated in 50 urology conferences/conventions, 26 presentations in Greek and 13 in International conferences. Moreover, I have contributed in the authorship of 17 publications in Greek Urology journals (12 as summaries and 5 as complete full-text articles) and 14 publications in International ones (6 as summaries, 2 as e-publishings and 6 as complete full-text articles in the Medline/Pubmed journals).
