Short CV: 

He completed his studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens (Degree in Medicine in 1974, residency in 1982, PhD in 1983). He has been a Scientific Associate of the Urology Clinic of the University of Athens since 1981, a Lecturer since 1983, an Assistant Professor since 1990 and an Associate Professor since 1997. He received further training in Extracorporeal Lithotripsy at the Centre MedicoChirurgical and Necker in Paris, in Endourology and Urological Surgery at Saint Louis Hospital in Paris, Professor Le Duc, and at Katharinen Hospital in Stuttgart. He participated in the organisation of the Extracorporeal Lithotripsy – Endourology – Ultrasound and Laser Unit of Sismanogleion Hospital. From 1993 to 2007, he served as an examiner for the European Board of Urology. He has authored over 30 articles on PubMed, has participated in numerous conferences and scientific events as a speaker or coordinator and has authored one book (Percutaneous Lithotripsy) and chapters in Greek textbooks. He has been serving as President of the Department of Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery of the Hellenic Urological Association (EOE) since 2006 and has been a member of the Education Committee of EOE since 2006.
