The completion of 20 years since the first application of Botulinum Toxin (BoNTs) in LUT was the starting point for a European Consensus Meeting organised under the initiative of Assistant Professor A. Apostolidis, CPHC (Continence and Pelvic Health Center and USUD (Unit for the Study of Urological Diseases) in cooperation with the B' Department of Urology. The Consensus Meeting was held on 25-26 January 2008, at the Papageorgiou Hospital of Thessaloniki. At the same time, the 3rd European Masterclass for the use of BoNT in Urology took place.
The results of the Consensus Meetings were published in the journal European Urology. The article has been a reference point in international literature.
